Web Service geocoding allows you to geocode from server-side using any programming language. This enables you to tightly integrate geocoding and mapping functionality into your existing applications. We provide sample code in PHP and C# for your convenience.

There are two Web Services provided by iShareMaps On Demand:

Geocoding – Returns the latitude and longitude of postcodes and city names.

Render Map – Displays a map with a specified map boundary and zoom centred on latitude and longitude coordinates.

JavaScript geocoding provides a client-side access to iShareMaps On Demand. We have written easy-to-use, AJAX-enabled, JavaScript functions that access the iShareMaps On Demand Web Service. With this you will be able to easily integrate geocoding into your web page without using server-side programming languages.
