iShareMaps is extremely flexible and being GIS and Back Office system agnostic it has been built to integrate.

Spatial Data Warehouses

ESRI ArcGIS Server (ArcSDE)

Information is accessed directly via a server client process to cache the information into flat files.  Some files are cached every 10 minutes others every 60 minutes.  Reduces licensing costs, guarantees speed and security, ensures that reliance on networks & back office databases is kept to a minimum.

Oracle Spatial (Vanilla)

Via OGR and the PostgreSQL Spatial database.  Data retrieved at regular intervals automatically.  GIS data management via CadCorp software.

Oracle Spatial (PBMI / GDC GeoStore)

Regular publishing of specific data items for iShareMaps. Reduces licensing costs, guarantees speed and security, ensures that reliance on networks & back office databases is kept to a minimum.

Customer Relationship Management Systems

Lagan FrontLine

 Fully integrated into a workflow to allow the Customer Service Centre (CSC) to take a call, lookup the address through iShareMaps and then have the call reference and street lamp id passed through to AchieveForms to then be submitted back to Lagan CRM.

SAP

Calls made to iShareMaps for the My House page specific to the CRM Team which holds additional information not available to the public such as names of officers responsible and telephone numbers.

Orchard CRM

Calls made to iShareMaps for the My House page specific to the CRM Team which holds additional information not available to the public such as names of officers responsible and telephone numbers.

 iShareMaps accesses dynamic templates from both elmbridge.gov.uk and surreyheath.gov.uk servers ensuring always current.  Tagsh have also included a component to allow the easy integration of dynamic images to show locatins such as community centres etc.

Planning Systems

Northgate MVM M3 / Planning Explorer

Data (here in MapInfo TAB) retrieved every 10 minutes, merged from 24 layers into single master layer and then separated to yearly layers.  Each planning application then links to the relevant application on the Planning Explorer.

CAPS UNI-form 

RBWM – dynamic access to the Planning Applications from Oracle.  Cached every 10 minutes.

BathNES – access via to ArcSDE is via Materialized Views inside Oracle and the use of the ESRI interoperability toolkit.
