Bath and North East Somerset council recently installed iShareMaps and have gone live with their highways road reports.  Fully integrated within their website the road report now links directly to iShareMaps to give citizens and staff a truly interactive means of understanding what is happening on the roads.

iShareMaps dynamically streams map images to various pages on the web site with information such as Roadworks, Highways Maintenance Jobs and Fly Tipping is presented from back office sytems such as MapInfo Confirm whilst geogrpahic data is retrieved from the corporate spatial database based on Oracle spatial.  This is the initial implementation with other local information soon to be provided via My House.
